“ Having seen online reviews, we came to check it out ourselves. We had the 4-course tasting menu (see photos): First came the amuse-bouche, which was some sort of delicate cheese topped with sturgeon caviar. Next, the entree was soft buttery lobster with tempura fiddleheads, on a bed of green pea puree. Then came the main course - slices of tender duck confit with seasonal vegetables, rosemary roasted potatoes, paired with a creamy white sauce (wish I caught its name!) Finally, the dessert was an impossibly stunning creation of a bird's nest: sweet cream with a golden caramelized sugar outer, layered on top of a roasted toffee graham cracker, and surrounded by thin strands of chocolate and decadent chocolate ice cream. Perfect image for spring, and well-balanced in flavour. All in all, it was a very creative and lovely dinner. We thought it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The service was also impeccable. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience at your beautiful restaurant. ”

The restaurant was cozy and welcoming and the service was kind and attentive. Each plate was executed without flaw and as beautiful as it was delicious. I loved that they open on Monday nights as selection is limited on that day normally. I was even surprised with truffles and a candle to wish me a happy birthday. “ This was a wonderful restaurant experience! From the moment we checked in with our reservation we felt like we were in the best of hands. We are learning French so we asked our server for patience and to speak French with us. As this was an anniversary celebration, we decided to splash out on the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. It was delightful from the beginning to the end. Oysters, caviar, foie gras, elk, local wine and cheese and ending with an apple sticky toffee pudding with bacon ice cream. The wine pairings were mostly excellent. Every wine was described beautifully by our server and we had time to enjoy them on their own before the food course arrrived. We didnt feel rushed or like we were ever waiting a long time between courses. It was a perfect evening! ”
